A collection account from XXXX XXXX XXXX is being reported on my credit file with a {$0.00} balance. The original creditor was XXXX, and I paid XXXX directly on XX/XX/year>. I never paid or agreed to pay XXXX XXXX XXXX. Despite this, XXXX XXXX XXXX is reporting a collection account under my name, which is misleading and factually incorrect. This tradeline falsely implies the debt was collected by them when it was not. I requested that TransUnion and Equifax remove the collection, as it violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA 607 ( b ), 611 ( a ), 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) ) and FDCPA 807. I have attached proof of payment to XXXX and a screenshot showing the {$0.00} balance reporting from the collection agency. I am requesting the immediate deletion of this collection account from all credit reporting agencies.
