To whom it may concern, I am writing to dispute the reporting of a 120-day late payment for my student loans. My mother has been dutifully paying the parent plus loans and we both believed those were the only student loans taken for my education. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and this late payment has hit me in the worst time possible as it has destroyed my chances of owning a home just as i was planning to be a new homeowner. Im a hardworking citizen that was always on time with all payments before this. When I called XXXX XXXX and asked them why they were hitting me with these late payments even though my parent plus loan was being paid they told me i had another set of loans under my name for the same college. Me and my mother were both surprised because to our knowledge the parent plus loan was the only one. So I set up my XXXX XXXX account and was able to get in and set up auto pay and the situation is now handled. This loan was previously under administrative forbearance during the federal student loan payment pause. I did not receive any communication, billing statements, or past-due notices from the loan servicer informing me that payments had been due, or that the loan was no longer deferred. Up until this error my Credit Report has shown current payment even in the month prior to the 90 Day Late Payment status, which directly contradicts the claim that I was 90 days delinquent in XX/XX/scrub>XXXX XXXX
