Subject : Request for Immediate Deletion of Repossession Account from Equifax Inaccurate, Unverifiable, and Inconsistent Reporting XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX To Whom It May Concern, I am filing this complaint because Equifax is continuing to report a repossession account on my credit report that has already been removed from both Experian and TransUnion due to its inaccuracies, unverifiability, and failure to meet compliance standards under federal law. The account in question is : Creditor Name : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX Account Number XXXX Equifax Reported Status : Repossession / Charged Off Balance : XXXX Date Opened : XX/XX/XXXX Issues with This Account : 1. This account has already been deleted from my Experian and TransUnion reports as a result of prior disputes for inaccuracy and unverifiability. 2. The reported balance is inaccurate and does not match internal records nor what was reported to the other two bureaus. 3. No original documentation bearing my live signature or any validation of the debt has been provided in accordance with 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ). Violations of Federal Law : FCRA 1681i Requires Equifax to conduct a reasonable reinvestigation when a consumer disputes any item, and delete it if the information can not be verified or is inaccurate. FCRA 1681e ( b ) Requires Equifax to maintain maximum possible accuracy of the information it reports. If the account was inaccurate enough to be removed by Experian and TransUnion, then Equifaxs continued reporting is a direct violation. FCRA 1681c ( a ) Limits the length of time derogatory information may be reported ( usually 7 years from the date of first delinquency ). FCRA 1681s-2 ( b ) Once disputed, the furnisher ( original creditor ) must conduct an investigation, correct or delete any inaccuracies, and inform all bureaus. That clearly did not happen here. I am requesting : Permanent deletion of this account from my Equifax report to match Experian and TransUnion. A copy of the method of verification used by Equifax, including any documentation provided by the creditor bearing my live signature. A written confirmation that this account will not be reinserted into my file unless fully revalidated under FCRA 1681i ( a ) ( 5 ) ( B ). I have attached my government-issued ID, proof of address, and the relevant pages of my credit report from all three bureaus showing that this account no longer appears on Experian or TransUnion. Please treat this as a formal complaint and resolve this issue
