Consumer Narrative
Complaint for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Account Number : XXXX ) I am filing this complaint because ( Experian, Equifax and transunion ) and the data furnisher, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, are reporting inaccurate and unverifiable information on my credit report for auto loan account number XXXX, in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically 15 U.S. Code 1681i. I request this account be deleted from my credit report. I previously disputed this account directly with Experian, transunion and Equifax on [ Date of XXXX XXXX ] However, the dispute submission failed with the message 'trade all balance history soft deleted, ' but the fundamental inaccuracies persist. They failed to do accurate reporting and are beyond their 30 day time frame. The inaccuracies are as follows : Contradictory Account Status : The report states 'Account charged off/Never late. ' An account can not be both charged off ( indicating severe delinquency ) and 'never late. ' This is a direct and material contradiction. Conflicting Charge-Off Dates : The report shows inconsistent charge-off dates. It states 'Status updated XX/XX/XXXX ' but 'Account charged off ... as of XX/XX/XXXX. ' The payment history shows 'CO ' from XX/XX/XXXX. These dates are confusing and do not align. Pattern of Invalid Dates : The 'Previous " comment section for this account contains multiple 'Invalid date ' entries which demonstrates a history of unreliable and inaccurate data reporting by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to Experian, Transunion and Equifax. These severe inconsistencies and errors indicate that the information can not be fully verified. Under FCRA 15 U.S. Code 1681i, if information can not be verified as accurate, it must be deleted. I urge the CFPB to compel Experian, Transunion and Equifax and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to conduct a proper reinvestigation and delete this inaccurate account. A soft delete is not a full deletion. Complaint for XXXX XXXX ( Account Number : XXXX ) I am filing this complaint because Experian, Transunion and Equifax and the data furnisher, XXXX XXXX, are reporting inaccurate and unverifiable information on my credit report for auto loan account number XXXX, in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically 15 U.S. Code 1681i. I request this account be deleted from my credit report. I previously disputed this account directly with Experian, transunion and Equifax on [ Date of XX/XX/XXXX ] it is now beyond their 30 day time frame. The inaccuracies are as follows : Conflicting Charge-Off Dates : The report presents highly contradictory charge-off dates. It states 'Account charged off ... as of XX/XX/XXXX ' and 'Status updated XX/XX/XXXX. ' The 'Payment history guide ' also states 'Charge Off as of XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. ' These multiple dates for a single event are inconsistent and confusing. " {$0.00} Paid ' with Remaining Balance : The balance history explicitly shows a balance of {$9700.00}, yet for multiple months ( e.g., XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX ), it states " {$0.00} Paid on XX/XX/XXXX. ' A XXXX dollar payment does not reduce an outstanding balance ; this is a clear misrepresentation of payment activity. Pattern of Invalid Dates : The 'Previous " comment section shows numerous 'Invalid date ' entries, indicating a pattern of unreliable and inaccurate data reporting by XXXX XXXX . Repossession Inconsistencies : While 'Repossession as of XX/XX/XXXX ' is mentioned its impact on the account 's status and its relation to the conflicting charge-off dates is unclear and inconsistently reported. These significant inconsistencies and errors demonstrate that the information is not accurate or verifiable. Under FCRA 15 U.S. Code 1681i, if information can not be verified as accurate, it must be deleted. I urge the CFPB to compel Experian, Transunion and Equifax and XXXX XXXX to conduct a proper reinvestigation and delete this inaccurate account. They are passed 30 days and a soft delete is not a full deletion.
