In XX/XX/year>, I contacted the bank ( XXXX/Comenity ) regarding a fraudulent account listed under my credit report. They confirmed that the account is under my sisters name, not mine but it was created using my Social Security number and date of birth. They stated they would send a letter to XXXX to request the account be removed.Despite this, I have disputed the account with XXXX multiple times in the past. I clearly explained it was not my account and that my sisters information and mine have previously been confused due to similar identities. Instead of removing the account, XXXX only closed it, and it continues to negatively affect my credit. I am requesting that this account be fully removed from my credit history, along with the incorrect also known as name that was added to my profile. Ive taken every step I can and need this corrected immediately.
