On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, XXXX contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to discuss the lack of professionalism and threats of an employee of Edge Home Finance. I called for several days was constantly told that one of the owners would call me back and no one ever did. The employee is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I wanted to switch the loan officer with the company. XXXX XXXX XXXX wanted me to switch the insurance agent to an insurance agent he wanted. XXXX XXXX XXXX, refused to close in a timely manner and kept getting extensions. When I called the title company that he works with, he instructed them not to communicate with me. So, I asked someone else to look into things for me, I was told they didn't know why he structured the loan the way he did. They also told me that " technically '' it's not against the law, but it raises questions regarding ethics. Upon hearing that, I shut down communication with XXXX XXXX XXXX and called the headquarters office like I was suggested. I received no call back from anyone ( owners included ). I was pre-approved by XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX kept complaining about the insurance agent that I decided to work with over and over without a valid reason. I found out later that XXXX XXXX XXXX was getting a kickback from the insurance agents that he works with and he couldn't do that with the insurance agent that I chose to work with. XXXX XXXX XXXX did tell me that he believed the insurance agent would question the way he structured the loan and questioned the legality about the way he had set it up causing the delay in the closing. We were supposed to close on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX 's reason for not being able to close was blamed on the Sellers. This was his constant excuse. It was pushed back to XX/XX/XXXX, and then again to XX/XX/XXXX, and everything was the same reason. When I called the title company, he instructed them not to communicate with me again unprofessional behavior. I wasn't able to switch loan officers within XXXX XXXX XXXX because no one called me back. I lost my down payment of {$1000.00} and now XXXX XXXX XXXX is threatening a payment of {$650.00}.
