I received a text message from a company called Transworld Systems ( TSI ) in regards to a medical debt for COASTLINE EMERGENCY PHYSICIANS ( a doctor 's office I have never visited, or received caref rom ). I called their " Customer Service '' number, and was told this debt belonged to someone with a completely different name and biological XXXX. I was told this would be marked in the system as " WRONG NUMBER ''. The following week, I received another attempt to collect the debt via text message. I called their " Customer Service '' number again, and was transferred to three different agents. None of the agents would provide me any confirmation when requested. The final agent said the same thing ( my number would be marked " WRONG NUMBER '' ). When I insisted I needed * confirmation * that I would not receive correspondence, they could not provide me with any guarantee. Instead, they placed me on their DO NOT CALL list.
