On XXXX XXXX at approximately XXXX to XXXX I visited your organization-XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, OR with pre-approvals secured from three separate banks. Prior to my visit, I informed the salesperson that I would be using my own financing and did not authorize the dealership to run my credit under any circumstances. I have all the information reference in text messages. After test driving a vehicle ( XXXX XXXX ), the salesperson ( XXXX XXXX ) handed me XXXX XXXX XXXX and asked me to complete a form. I noticed the questions closely mirrored those on my pre-approval applications, so I paused and asked for clarification. He assured me it was not a credit application, but rather a form required by the dealership to retrieve my existing approval from their system. Trusting his explanation, I completed the form. Shortly afterward, while the salesperson was in the finance office, I received a notification that my credit had been accessed by XXXX XXXX. I immediately questioned this and was told it had only been submitted to XXXX XXXX, but the system also sends it to XXXX and XXXX. This was a clear misrepresentation. I never consented to a credit inquiry, and I made that explicitly clear before and during my visit. I left the dealership immediately after learning of the unauthorized inquiry. I have also gave an opportunity to XXXX XXXX, he bluntly denied that my credit was access by his team. This is very deceitful.
