Some time in XXXX I opted in for automatic payment on my credit card in the full amount I owed each month. I use my card a couple times a month for gas and other miscellaneous things but never enough to amount to too much. I recently checked my credit card app and thought my balance looked very high ( over {$4000.00} ) and immediately went to check my charges out of fear someone was using my card. I noticed an interest fee being charged on my account monthly : XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, I am not able to see past XX/XX/XXXX. I called customer support on XX/XX/XXXX who told me I was opted for partial auto payment. I expressed this was incorrect and I had opted for full payments. After multiple back and forth I instructed the representative to switch me off partial and onto full payments. My bill in XXXX amounts to over {$4000.00} which is not accurate. I checked my email and noticed back in XXXX of XXXX I received an email from capital reminding me of my monthly payment and that I was enrolled in auto payments in full. I called capital one customer service back and explained that they had lied to me and I had evidence to show I should not be being charged interest and that I was enrolled in auto payments in full. I spoke with a senior customer service representative XXXX XXXX XXXX who stated they could not waive or reimburse me the fees and that she did not know what to tell me and she did not see any errors on her end. I told her I had email evidence that I was enrolled in full payments and she still wouldnt do anything to help me
