I have a mortgage with Newrez. I have been approved for a home equity loan with another company. There are two liens on my home from partial claims taken out due to hardship. I am trying to get the payoff amount on those so I can close on this loan. I have called the company several times and they only give me an email address to send the request to. Once I sent the request it stated it would be 5 to 7 days. It has now been two weeks I still can not get the payoff amounts to release these two liens so I can close on my home equity loan. I can not close on this loan until I have the payoff amounts so that the liens can be released. Nobody at Newrez mortgage will escalate or help me.
