I am filing this complaint because XXXX has inaccurately reported a XXXX delinquency for XX/XX/year> on my student loan, while failing to report any data for XXXX and XX/XX/year>. This is misleading and factually incomplete, constituting a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) 1681e ( b ), which requires furnishers to provide information that is both accurate and complete. I submitted a formal dispute on XX/XX/year>, challenging the accuracy of this tradeline. On XX/XX/year>, XXXX verified the information, yet provided no documented evidence or payment records to justify how a 90-day delinquency is possible without any prior 30-day or 60-day late entries. This failure to conduct a reasonable investigation is a violation of FCRA 1681s-2 ( b ). Initially, TransUnion and Equifax removed the account from my credit profile, acknowledging the issue.
