I am submitting this complaint because TransUnion continues to report an account from XXXX XXXX XXXX ( # XXXX ) as a " Charge Off '' despite the fact that the vehicle was voluntarily surrendered in XX/XX/year>. This dual reporting of " Voluntary Surrender '' and " Charge Off '' violates Metro 2 guidelines and creates a distorted and punitive impression of my credit behavior. This inaccurate reporting has continued for more than 36 months, with crucial information missing such as the Date of First Delinquency ( DOFD ), Date of Last Activity ( DLA ), and Payment Rating. I previously disputed this with TransUnion and even sent a certified letter to XXXX XXXX requesting verification, to which they never respondedtriggering obligations under 15 U.S.C. 1681s-2 ( b ) ( 1 ) ( D ) of the FCRA. Despite these efforts, the inaccurate data remains. This situation is not just a technical errorit has caused me ongoing XXXX, financial exclusion, and immense XXXX XXXX. Ive been denied housing opportunities and credit, and it has impacted my familys stability. The constant fear of judgment and rejection from lenders is taking a toll on my XXXX XXXX. I feel powerless and ignored despite having followed all the legal procedures to fix this.
