This letter serves as a formal demand for compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) regarding the handling of my credit report. I have requested the following accounts listed below to removed from my credit report due to identity theft. This is my several attempt to resolve this matter. The previous letters have come with XXXX compliance. Your failure to provide verifiable proof and your reliance on generic, non-substantive responses violate federal law and my consumer rights. I will not tolerate these deliberate evasions. Despite my repeated disputes, your agency has failed to provide legally required documentation proving the validity of the reported information. Under 15 U.S. Code 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), upon receiving a dispute, you are legally required to conduct a meaningful investigation and provide substantive evidence verifying the accuracy of the disputed account. You have 30 days from the date of this letter to provide the following : 1.Actual verification of the disputed accounts, including original documentation from the data furnisher proving the validity of the debtnot generic statements from the creditor or data furnisher. 2.A detailed explanation of the investigation conducted, including the specific steps taken to verify the accuracy of the information. 3.The names, contact information, and job titles of the individuals who handled my dispute. 4.A statement confirming removal of any information that can not be fully verified as per 15 U.S. Code 1681i ( a ) ( 5 ). Failure to comply will result in immediate legal action. I am fully prepared to escalate this matter to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ), the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ), and my states Attorney General. Additionally, I will explore all legal avenues, including but not limited to, filing a lawsuit for willful noncompliance under 15 U.S. Code 1681n, which entitles me to statutory damages, punitive damages, attorney fees, and costs. The following accounts do not belong to me, as they are fraudulent. The banks have agreed to remove these accounts from my records. XXXX confused why you still feel theyre reporting accurately.
