Subject : XXXX XXXX XXXX TransUnion and XXXX for FCRA Violations Dispute Filed : XX/XX/year> Investigation Status : In Progress Since XX/XX/year> To Whom It XXXX Concern, I am submitting this letter as a formal complaint and request for assistance regarding unresolved disputes with TransUnion and XXXX, originally filed through your system on XX/XX/year>. Both bureaus acknowledged the dispute on XX/XX/year>, but as of today, the items remain uncorrected or unverified and continue to negatively impact my credit report. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), I am exercising my rights as a consumer to request permanent deletion of the disputed accounts due to the following violations : Cited Violations of the FCRA : FCRA 611 [ 15 U.S.C. 1681i ] Credit bureaus are required to complete a reinvestigation of disputed items within 30 days. If the furnisher fails to verify the information, it must be deleted from the credit report. FCRA 607 ( b ) [ 15 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ) ] Bureaus must ensure that all information on a credit file is reported with maximum possible accuracy. The disputed accounts include inaccurate balances, statuses, and/or reporting dates that violate this section. Requested Resolution : XXXX TransUnion and XXXX to delete all disputed accounts that were not fully verified within the XXXX window. Provide me with written confirmation of the removals. Investigate whether these credit bureaus and data furnishers are in systemic violation of the FCRA. Take appropriate enforcement action if necessary. I respectfully request the CFPBs intervention to ensure that my rights are upheld under the FCRA and to prevent any further damage caused by inaccurate or unverifiable credit reporting.
