This correspondence is to report what I believe to be a violation of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FRCA ). I contacted XXXX XXXX at the phone number ( XXXX ) XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX pm to request a validation document for XXXX Account : XXXX that had been reported to XXXX as delinquent. I was told by the XXXX agent after he looked up my account that I needed to contact Transworld Systems Inc. ( TSI ) for account further assistance. I contacted TSI XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX pm.I spoke on the phone for XXXX minutes with a TSI agent providing the requested information assuming it was collected for the purpose of receiving a validation document for the alleged delinquent XXXX XXXX also sent a separate letter to TSI mailing address to request the validation document again on XX/XX/XXXX to ensure I had a request in writing as well. I called TSI again on XX/XX/XXXX after not receiving the requested validation document well beyond the anticipated 5 days response time. I communicated again to the TSI agent that I had not received the validation document but did verify the letter sent on XX/XX/XXXX was received by TSI and the agent confirmed it was recorded in their system. I have not as of this date XX/XX/XXXX received the requested validation document for the XXXX XXXX alleged delinquent account reported to XXXX and now also reported to XXXX credit agencies. I paid off the balance of XXXX cell phones on XX/XX/XXXX, which resulted in the XX/XX/XXXX account XXXX balance. I have attached a documents showing that I terminated my account with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX with no balance. On XX/XX/XXXX, I started to receive additional billing from XXXX XXXX in escalating amounts. My account was locked as soon as I paid off the final balance on my third phone and I was not able to get back on XXXX app for any other billing statements. I need a verification document of the balance so I know the balance worst manifested.The account that was due only for the prorated month of service XX/XX/XXXX. I have attached a copy of an escalation of billing that continued after my account was closed. I contacted XXXX customer service and their executive office to try to get an explanation of why I was still being billed. I was told that I had a balance on my account. I provided a billing statement that included the payoff payment of the phones, and they would not accept it. In my opinion I am inclined to believe that XXXX XXXX and TSI have utilized a coordinated plan to avoid providing the validation document I requested on XX/XX/XXXX. TSI and XXXX actions would lead the average person to believe XXXX and TSI are trying to deny me as a consumers the ( FDCPA ) and ( FCRA ) due process to receive a timely validation document. In my opinion this coordinated action taken by XXXX and TSI is a FCRA and FDRCA violation. FCRA and FDRCA rules advocate for consumers to be provided a validation document as a right of fair credit reporting.
