I received a letter offering a credit card from SoFi Bank, stating that I would not be charged any fees for up to 12 months if I did a balance transfer. At the time of the balance transfer, I agreed to pay the interest charges for each one. To my surprise, a few days later, I was charged a second fee that was not mentioned in the letter I received. I contacted SoFi, and the representative told me that this second charge was mentioned in an 84-page consent agreement, which I obviously did not read. I do not agree to pay this second interest fee of {$230.00}. I made the payment yesterday because otherwise, I would have been charged interest for not paying, but I do not agree with it and I want my money back.
