1 ) Under FCRA and FDCPA, when a consumer disputes a debt or requests verification, I requested an independent investigation from the credit reporting agency to : Investigate the Claim Promptly The credit bureau must investigate the disputed information, typically within 30 days, and forward all relevant information provided by the consumer to the furnisher ( the reporting creditor or collector ). Provide the Name and Address of the Creditor Upon request, the credit bureau and/or debt collector must identify the original creditor, including name and address. Provide the Account Number The collector must include the account number or identifying number to help the consumer understand which debt is being referenced. Break Down and Itemize the Charges Upon request or in response to a dispute, the debt collector must itemize the charges, including : Principal Interest Fees ( late fees, service charges, etc. ) Any other amounts, Payments made and person who opened this debt. Dates associated with these charges. 2 ) FTC Report filed and that disputes these false claims from XXXX. See attachment and remove this claim from all credit reports and send me a updated copy of credit report. Please Provide This Information in Writing This must be provided in writing upon the consumers request as part of the " debt validation '' process under the FDCPA. and sent to me at address on file in writing with in 30 days, or I will sue. See attachment from my lawyer.
