I was wanting to have a service provider for a childs birthday party and the service provider stated that they wouldve liked me to pay using Chime. I have the invoice and I have the conversations from XXXX in which I was advised to use them so that they would provide the service. Using Chime I sent a payment of XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, and then XX/XX/XXXX I sent a payment of XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. Due to the fact that someone was supposed to arrive to provide the service, I realize that I was scammed for my money and not going to be provided the service for the party. When I initially called Chime, I was told by the XXXX customer service rep that they could not assist me until the charge is cleared. I still was persistent and contacted them anyway and when talking to an actual live agent, I just asked if she could reverse the charges and she told me that they had already cleared. Chime was aware of my situation within an hour after getting scammed and were able to provide no assistance, they could not refund my money, or reverse the charges. That is poor customer service. Even XXXX XXXX wouldve been able to give me my money back.
