I am a victim of identity theft. My sensitive personal information was compromised in multiple data breaches, including the XXXX XXXX breach. As a result, unauthorized accounts are being reported on my credit reports. I submitted an FTC Identity Theft Report ( # XXXX ) and issued FCRA Section 605B dispute letters to all three CRAs with supporting documentation ( ID, proof of address, notarized affidavit, and list of fraudulent accounts ). Despite this, negative and fraudulent accounts remain on my credit file, including but not limited to : XXXX XXXX - {$18000.00} ( Account # XXXX ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX {$1500.00} credit card & {$5000.00} XXXX XXXX ( Account # XXXX ) XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Account # XXXX ) XXXX XXXX XXXX ( Account # XXXX ) These accounts were not opened or authorized by me. I requested a block of these items per FCRA 605B, which requires action within 4 business days. The bureaus and furnishers have failed to comply. I am requesting the CFPB enforce compliance under FCRA 605B, 615 ( f ), and 623 ( a ) ( 6 ), and require the bureaus to : Block all fraudulent accounts Notify furnishers of blocked items Prevent re-reporting of these accounts Remove inaccurate addresses/inquiries associated with identity theft
