XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX Subject : Formal Dispute and Request for Reinvestigation of Unauthorized Hard Inquiries Under the FCRA To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally dispute several unauthorized hard inquiries that are being reported on my credit file. The MOV must include a clear description of how the information was verified, the party that verified it, and the procedure used. This dispute is being made in good faith, and I expect a prompt response. If this matter is not resolved within 30 days, as required under 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), I will consider legal action, including complaints to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) and possibly filing suit under 15 U.S.C. 1681n and 1681o for willful and negligent noncompliance.
