This company, Phoenix Recovery Group, in conjunction with small local Rental companies, i.e. XXXX XXXX have devised this criminal fraud scam in an attempt to unjustly enrich themselves. None of these debts have been validated or ordered by any court or other authoritative body. All normal legal process or steps have been circumvented. I simply advised XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) due to being a XXXX XXXX XXXX, my health required me to live closer to a family member. I proactively advised XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) more than 60 days prior that my XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. XXXX never advised me of any negative repercussions. The residence was cleaned ( move-in and out photos offered ) and vacated by XX/XX/24. XXXX was advised and keys were left on counter. XXXX was aware that security deposit would be applied toward final months rent XX/XX/24. I was never contacted by XXXX verbally or in writing. No texts or phone calls. XXXX subsequently re-rented the property, while at the same time employing Phoenix Recovery group a collection amount of approx {$20000.00}. If Phoenix debt collection group actually purchased this bogus debt from XXXX, then both of these companies need to be investigated. The debts these people are trying to collect on are totally inflated and/or erroneous. They have also hurt my ability to rent another place based on this made up debt. Threatening my livelihood.
