There is a charge off on my credit report by KIA Finance. I filed a complaint with Equifax because KIA Finance ) wrote off the charge, ) but the charge was paid. I provided XXXX proof of payment. XXXX leaves the charge off on my credit stating the day of payment, which is different from the charge off date. However, this charge off is for the difference in what XXXX paid for a totaled car and that which KIA Financed for the car that was totaled. The financing incorporated providing me with XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX knew who the XXXX XXXX provider was and never bothered to tell me who the XXXX XXXX provider was. The auto financing of XXXX XXXX, which was part of my loan with Kia Finance as a packaged deal for that XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX that was totaled. ( The car was totaled by another motorist who rear ended while driving on a local street and injured me in XX/XX/XXXX. ) XXXX, my insurance paid for the car and the GAP Insurance that was part of the sale price financed by KIA covered the remaining cost of the totaled car that KIA Finance financed. Injured, distracted and distraught I had to call KIA Finance to get the name of the XXXX XXXX provider and that is the only reason how, when and why KIA Finance was paid XX/XX/XXXX, but all that while ONLY KIA Finance new who was the XXXX XXXX provider, Assurance, and how to contact the XXXX XXXX provider, just like they never told the credit reporting company that their bogus charge off had been paid. Additionally, although KIA Finance all the while new their was XXXX XXXX as a part of the financed amount for the XXXX XXXX XXXX purchased from the XXXX XXXX was totaled, and only KIA Finance new who was the XXXX XXXX provider actually was and how to contact the provider etc., instead of volunteeringly letting injured and distraught me know KIA Finance hounded me over and over again for that difference they falsely claimed as a charge off knowing the aforesaid, just like the reported a charge off and accepted payment but did not notify anyone. XXXX in its investigation did not find out the true basis of that, which KIA Finance, being a XXXX XXXX expected payment windfall, has called a charge off.
