Home equity loan taken out with another financial institution in early XXXX Creditor XXXX, who owned the loan after acquiring from creditor XXXX, had loan amount paid in full approximately XX/XX/year>. A reimbursement was issued to me for the additional payments made while waiting for loan payoff processing. XXXX issued a reimbursement. Per XXXX representative, " system upgrades '' performed at XXXX placed my loan into bankruptcy status with XXXX Creditor XXXX continued to report to credit agencies on time payments of {$0.00} without balance decrease from prior payoff amounts. XXXX was informed that this account was not in bankruptcy, but in fact paid in full. Escalated support representative informed that the account had to be fixed and that he would follow up with more information. Representative did not call back, and account began increasing in amount owed. XXXX to XXXX, representative informed that there was an amount owed to SST for apparent incorrect reimbursement amount, but the loan was paid in full. Was advised that there was not a current payment plan, that the account was to remain open until amount was paid back in full, to not dispute with credit agencies, and that they would request a full summary to be sent to assist with understanding the history on the account. No history has been received, and a credit agency dispute returned the same information reported previously.
