Equifax XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Blocking Access, and Reinsertion of Fraudulent Tradeline I am filing this complaint against Equifax due to their mishandling of my disputes related to XXXX XXXX XXXX account XXXX ( SOC ). I initially disputed the inaccurate XXXX tradeline on XXXX, and Equifax deleted it four times before reinserting it without proper validation. Despite my submission of an FTC Identity Theft Report, notarized affidavit, and supporting documentation, Equifax accepted an incomplete, redacted validation packet from XXXX, which lacked the required MO ARB 553 document and cut off my signature. Instead of conducting a reasonable reinvestigation as required under FCRA 1681i, Equifax marked the tradeline as verified and later blocked me from submitting further disputes, stating the account was already in dispute even after the investigation was completed on XXXX. An Equifax specialist even told me to contact XXXX directly to ask why they kept reinserting the tradeline, which is Equifaxs responsibility to investigate. This violates my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, including FCRA 1681e ( b ) and 1681i ( a ). Remove the already in dispute block and allow me to continue defending my rights. Provide written confirmation of these corrections. This mishandling of my dispute is egregious and will not be tolerated.
