I am filing this complaint because the nationwide credit reporting agencies ( CRAs ) ExperiaN are reporting inaccurate, outdated, and unverifiable personal information on my credit profile. I have previously disputed these inaccuracies directly with the CRAs, but they have failed to properly investigate and correct them as required by law. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ) and 1681e ( b ), CRAs are obligated to maintain complete and accurate consumer information and promptly correct or delete any inaccuracies. Additionally, CRAs must process disputes in accordance with OCR ( Online Consumer Reporting ) standards and e-OSCAR dispute handling protocols, which require thorough verification of all personal identifying information.
