Statement Regarding Dispute with Ally Financial Services I am filing this complaint due to Ally Financial Services ' continued failure to resolve and correct false information they are reporting on my credit report. Over the past 20 attempts, I have contacted Ally Financial via phone, email, and formal letters in an effort to address the inaccurate reporting on account number XXXX. Despite these numerous efforts, I have received no meaningful resolution. Ally has sent me three separate letters, each listing a different balance : {$25000.00} {$13000.00} {$8300.00} Yet, they continue to report {$25000.00} to the credit bureausan amount that is not only incorrect, but completely unsubstantiated based on the correspondence they themselves provided. It is evident that Ally Financial can not confirm the accurate amount due, likely due to a failure to properly process payments or insurance adjustments received from my insurance and XXXX provider. Their own inconsistencies clearly indicate they do not know what the correct balance is, and yet they continue to negatively impact my credit with erroneous data. The only time I have received any response from Ally was after filing complaints with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and the CFPB. Otherwise, my attempts to resolve this directly have been met with silence and disregard. This inaccurate reporting has now persisted for over XXXX years, causing me and my family significant financial hardship. I am formally requesting that this account be removed from my credit report immediately. The reporting of three different balancesnone of which are correctis a direct violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and a failure to meet the standards of accuracy and integrity required by federal law. Ally Financial 's actions are not only unprofessional but unlawful, and I urge the CFPB to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action.
