I reviewed monthly loan statements and all available information regarding my XXXX loan on Goodleap 's current servicing app, legacy payment website, and by calling into the customer service number. Not a single document, including the monthly statements, details the accrued interest for the loan. When speaking with a customer service representative today on XX/XX/XXXX, I asked for the accrued interest as of XX/XX/XXXX. The customer service agent did not seem to have any idea what I meant. He then provided me with a dollar total in response to my question, and I asked for substantiating documentation. He emailed me a summary, which did not list any information related to accrued interest at all, and I realized that he provided me with the sum of all loan payments that I made in XXXX rather than accrued interest. I don't think he has enough of a basic understanding of loan terms to understand or answer my question, which is unacceptable for a customer service agent for a loan servicer. I still have not been able to get any information about accrued interest. I believe that the lender / servicer is in violation of laws and regulations requiring the inclusion of accrued interest information in periodic statements.
