I sent a check last year in XXXX to Credence Resource Management to pay off a phone bill that got sent to collections. The amount was XXXX. I sent it through mail. I checked my credit report and it was sent to another agency XXXX XXXX. Credence resource management told me today on the phone that they sent the check back to me because they sent the collection to another agency. When checking with my bank I found out the check was actually cashed on XX/XX/year> at XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX Somebody cashed this check after I sent this to credence resource management to pay off this bill in collections. This check was supposed to be used for the bill collection and somebody stole this and cashed it. I have proof of this.
