Violations of the FCRA by Experian : 1. 15 U.S.C. 1681i ( a ) Experian is required to conduct a reasonable reinvestigation of disputed information and delete or correct any inaccurate, incomplete, or unverifiable information within 30 days. Despite my repeated disputes for nearly a year, Experian has failed to comply with this legal obligation. 2. 15 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ) Experian must maintain reasonable procedures to ensure the maximum possible accuracy of the information it reports. By continuing to report false late payments from XXXX XXXX, Experian has failed to maintain such procedures. Requested Resolution : I respectfully request the CFPB to take the following actions : Investigate Experians failure to correct the inaccurate late payment information after repeated disputes. Require Experian to delete the inaccurate late payment entries reported by XXXX XXXX from my credit report. Ensure Experians compliance with the FCRA to prevent further inaccurate reporting.
