I am filing a complaint against Experian, TransUnion, Equifax for failing to complete a credit dispute investigation within the timeframe required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). On XX/XX/year>, Experian received my written dispute letter, which I have proof of delivery for. According to the FCRA, credit reporting agencies are required to complete their investigation and respond within 30 days of receiving a consumer 's dispute. As of today, XX/XX/year>, Experian has not concluded the investigation nor provided me with the results of their findings. This is a clear violation of the FCRA, specifically 15 U.S. Code 1681i ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), which mandates that the agency must complete the reinvestigation within 30 days of receiving notice of the dispute. I am requesting the CFPB to investigate this matter and compel Experian to : Immediately complete the investigation ; Provide a written response with the results ;
