On XX/XX/year>, I was charged {$490.00} by a company called XXXX for a service that I never authorized to continue. Their team initially reached out to me directly, offering a free trial, to which I agreed under the clear understanding that I would not be charged unless I explicitly chose to keep the service. Prior to the charge, their representative XXXX XXXX XXXX explicitly stated in writing that I would only be billed if I decided to keep it. I never gave such consent, and I was ultimately dissatisfied with the product, which led to financial losses when using their betting tool. I contacted the company shortly after the charge to request a refund, but they refused. Then, approximately XXXX days after the charge was authorized through my bank, XXXX abruptly closed my account, completely cutting off my access to the serviceeven if I had wanted to use it ( which I did not ). As a result, I was charged {$490.00} without consent, denied a refund, and denied access to the product I was billed for. I then filed a formal dispute with my bank, Chime ( Dispute # XXXX ). Despite submitting supporting evidence that the charge was conditional and unauthorized, Chime denied the claim. At this point, I have paid {$490.00} for a service I did not consent to, was refused a refund, lost access to the product, and was effectively scammed. I am seeking a full refund and accountability for this companys deceptive, misleading, and retaliatory practices.
