I am reporting this account as a result of identity theft. I did not open this account and have no knowledge of its origin. I discovered the account while reviewing my credit report, and it is negatively impacting my credit profile. I previously submitted disputes with Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion regarding this fraudulent account. Despite my formal disputes, the account remains on my credit report with no sufficient response or investigation results from the credit bureaus. I have provided an FTC Identity Theft Report and requested validation from both the bureaus and the debt collector, but I have not received any of the documents I requested to prove the account is mine. I also requested that the company provide documentation such as a signed contract, application information, IP address, device, or any identification used to open the account. To date, no verification or proof has been provided. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I have a right to dispute inaccurate or fraudulent information and to request its removal. Since no validation has been sent to me and Ive submitted an identity theft report, this account must be removed immediately from all credit reporting agencies. If the company can not prove I authorized or opened this account, it should cease all collection activity and delete the account from my credit file.
