Consumer Narrative

EdFinancial reported XXXX different times on my credit report that I was delinquent on my accounts. Due to XXXX XXXX there was a forebearance on the student loans. I never received anything " in writing '' via USPS. Apparently, I was being sent emails to remind me of my payments but were going to my junk folder so I never saw them. I would have expected EdFinancial to have sent a written letter via US Postal Service that my loans were overdue, as per our agreement when I initially signed my agreement for student loans. I never recieved anything and only found out about the past due loans when EdFinancial reported to the credit agencies. I called EdFinancial and spoke to a representative who informed me that based on their records, the reporting was accurate and that they would not reverse their reporting. Again, nothing was sent " in writing '' via USPS and only via email which went to my junk folder. I would like some assistance as I have found many others with this same problem. They also reported each individual loan so now there are XXXX negative items on my credit report vs only XXXX. I understand there are XXXX separate ones but when a bill comes across its XXXX payment for all loans. I don't see why they would report XXXX separate ones either.
