Consumer Narrative

I have to explain how I crossed paths with this company to explain how I was ended up doing business with a lender from Tennessee while living in Texas. I used an app called XXXX XXXX that offers cash for games, credit building features, cash advances and etc. The app said that that they have partnered with lenders and you can apply for a loan. I didnt want a payday loan because I am familiar with the high interest rates. So I filled in my info and they matched me with lenders that I qualified for. Out of all the lenders XXXX ( Advanced Financial XXXX ) appeared to be the most interested as they were calling and emailing. I spoke with someone and they explained the company, the loan and repayment. Too good to be true! I follow through with the signup process, received my loan in less than 5 minutes and set up payments I could afford on my payday. WRONG! Not only did they trick me but it was not a credit building personal installment loan, it was not a high interest payday loan, it was a ridiculously 98.5 % interest loan to where only 1.5 % of all payments I make go towards the amount borrowed. Not only that but I accrue fees DAILY on top of all that. So if I give them {$100.00} as promised on my payday only {$1.00} would count towards the loan. Ive made several payments and payment amounts due in the future increases daily. If I continue to pay what I can afford in the initial agreement I could be paying close to {$4500.00} for a {$1000.00} loan!!! Please help I am victim of my financial circumstances and fell into a trap by a predatory lender. Theyve caused me to XXXX beyond belief, I have 2 young boys to provide for and if this continues they will suffer as well I am the primary bread winner. When I do speak to them and explain Ive been misled and tricked, they treat me as less than ( all conversations are recorded ). They have access to my XXXX XXXX account, routing number and debit card info! They randomly debit my account and each payment I make towards the loan changes. I feel violated and lied too! I have a lawyer through my job and I am current on all payments on the loan. Before continuing with a legal team I want to try and settle the dispute and repay a fair amount as I was lied to from the beginning. Todays XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I will reach out to my legal team on the next available day for advice. Thank you!!
