Experian continues to report an alleged XXXX XXXX credit card tradeline that I have repeatedly disputed under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). I have never acknowledged liability or ownership of this account and have lawfully requested its deletion due to lack of verification under FCRA 611 ( a ) ( 5 ). On XX/XX/year>, I sent Experian a certified dispute and legal demand letter, which was delivered XX/XX/XXXX. The letter cited FCRA 611 ( a ) ( 1 ), 611 ( a ) ( 5 ), 611 ( a ) ( 7 ), and 611 ( d ), demanding : Verified method of investigation Permanent deletion of the tradeline if unverifiable An updated credit report showing the correction Despite this, Experian has not provided any verification, has not deleted the tradeline, and continues to report it as valid with the remark : Account previously in dispute investigation complete, reported by data furnisher. This is materially false and misleading. On XX/XX/year>, I submitted a second, final legal demand letter. This letter also addressed Experians additional violations, including : Placing a fraud alert on my report without consent Sharing that alert with Equifax and TransUnion, in violation of FCRA 604 and 605A Removing the federally required dispute notation, in violation of 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) As a result of these failures, my credit score has dropped by over XXXX points, and I was denied a vehicle loan. Experian has refused to correct this matter and continues to mishandle my dispute in violation of multiple FCRA provisions. I am requesting enforcement action and permanent deletion of the tradeline, along with confirmation that the unauthorized fraud alert has been removed from all three bureaus.
