I am disputing a medical debt that XXXX XXXX XXXX ( MCM ) claims I owe. On XX/XX/year>, I sent them a written letter formally disputing the debt and requesting full validation, including proof of obligation and an itemized breakdown. This debt does not belong to me. It was incurred by another person, but the account was opened under my name to help them pay for a medical procedure. I do not acknowledge this debt as mine. Important note : In a previous CFPB complaint, I mistakenly attached a letter intended for a different collection agency. That submission was incorrect. This current complaint contains the accurate details and the correct letter sent to XXXX. As of today, XXXX has not provided any response or validation. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and the collection activity against me be stopped. I have attached the correct dispute letter for reference
