This complaint serves as final notice of my dispute regarding the inaccurate late payment reporting on my credit file and your agencys ongoing failure to comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S .C. 1681 et seq. Despite previous disputes, you have continued reporting this derogatory information without providing any documentation to support its validity. A generic 'verified ' response does not satisfy the legal requirement to perform a reasonable reinvestigation under FCRA 1681i. You are also in violation of FCRA 1681e ( b ) which requires that you ensure the maximum possible accuracy of the information you report. Your failure to remove unverifiable data and your refusal to produce original documentation demonstrates willful noncompliance. You now have 30 days from the date of this letter to provide the following : - Full and complete documentation from the original creditor validating the alleged late payment ; - A detailed explanation of the reinvestigation process and verification methods ; - Immediate deletion of the disputed item if it can not be 100 % verified with original, substantive evidence.
