XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX To Whom It May Concern, Subject : Credit Report Dispute XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) Dear [ Experian / Equifax / TransUnion ], I am writing to dispute inaccurate information being reported on my credit file regarding an account with XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, account number XXXX. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), it is unlawful to report a debt on a consumer 's credit file if that individual is merely an authorized user on the account. The primary cardholder is the only person legally responsible for repayment of the debt, not any authorized users. I have verified that I am only an authorized user on this account and have never agreed to or signed for financial responsibility. As such, the reporting of this account on my credit report is inaccurate and misleading, and it may adversely impact my creditworthiness. I respectfully request that you : 1.
