I am filing this complaint due to the continued and unlawful reporting of inaccurate, incomplete, and unverifiable information on my consumer credit report by Equifax. Despite multiple prior disputes and the submission of verified documentationincluding an FTC Identity Theft Report, this company has failed to conduct a lawful reinvestigation or correct/remove the disputed item in violation of federal law. Violations Involved : - FCRA 1681i failure to properly investigate disputed information within 30 days. - FCRA 1681s-2 ( a ) continued reporting of information known or reasonably known to be inaccurate. - Regulation V ( 12 CFR 1022.43 ) failure by furnisher to comply with direct dispute obligations.
