I have had Venmo for a few years and never really had an issue with them I used them this year and shortly after getting a debit card from them I noticed I had unusual activity on the card and had noticed unauthorized transactions. I called into Venmo and they were resistent to file a claim but they did once they realized I was in the hospital on some of the dates these actions were done on. I was then given a temporary credit and sent several emails stating the fraud claims were resolved in my favor and the temporary credit is now permanent. A few days later I get another email and told they were reversing the credits back and my account is negative at this time after numerous requests to have them go over the account charges with me. They sent me another email stating since my account is closed they can no longer help me or assist me with anything. I am very upset and would like for them to be held accountable and do the right thing. I would like an explanation on the charges and be given the respect as a customer who always handled the account well and never had any issues. This is heartbreaking for me as it is alot of money to be incorrect with and not providing an explanation just makes it worse. I dont want to be stuck and have noone at Venmo XXXX XXXX be liable due to not answering my requests for amounts and charges and dates, I am praying someone can help me to go over my account.
