My personal-loan accounts formerly serviced by XXXX were transferred to System & Services Technologies , Inc. ( SST ). Immediately afterward, SST began calling multiple times per day from rotating or unlisted numbersoften before XXXX XXXX., and repeatedly during my working hours, despite my request to continue via email and/or schedule appropriate times to call. First do-not-call request During a call on in either XXXX or XXXX of 2024, I told the SST agent that : Calls to my personal phone disrupt my job ( I must keep the line free for work-related calls needed to earn income to repay this debt ). All future contact must be in writing by email only. The agent agreed. Ongoing harassment despite repeated requests Despite that instruction, SST continues to ring me several times a week. Each time I remind the caller of my email-only preference ; each time they promise compliance, then resume calling. When I email SSTfor example on XXXX ask how to apply payments online versus over the phone, the response is another phone call instead of an email. Impact on me The unwanted calls : Consume work time I need to meet required call volume and earn commission that pays for the debt itself. Cause anxiety and workplace issues. Violate my right under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( 15 U.S.C. 1692c ( c ) ) to designate the method of communication. I have preserved call logs, voicemails, and copies of the emails requesting email-only contact, just as SST has. These will show my efforts to streamline and resolve my debt within my own means and methods, as I have a right to do.
