On XX/XX/XXXX, I was checking XXXX XXXX for my credit score when I saw my credit score of XXXX had dropped to XXXX overnight. I went searching and found that my school loans for both my XXXX education and XXXX education came out of forbearance and had been listed as 90 days late, leading to a delinquency ; this is something I had no idea was happening. After my loan had been bought out by XXXX and after XXXX, it was unclear when payments were to begin again. The total bill for the missed payments was upward of {$2500.00} which I can not afford by any means. I paid {$650.00} and called XXXX and told them I can not afford this at this point in time as I had moved my mother in with me from XXXX to take care of her which put a financial constraint on me. They kindly informed me that some of my loans were eligible for forgiveness as I have been working in the medical field since XXXX and sent me information regarding the process for that upon request. They told me that they would place my loans into forbearance and I requested until XXXX so I had time to re-evaluate my finances. I was actively attempting to purchase a house for me, my mother and my partner with his kids so we could consolidate all the funds and pay everything off. I emailed XXXX via the link they have regarding their " credit dispute '' and this was entirely ineffective stating in a response email a few days later that there were no errors on my credit report. I had no idea and was not adequately notified that my loans were past due otherwise I would've addressed this sooner so it did not ruin my chances of buying a house and moving forward in life in a financially responsible way. I understand that my loans were past due but this very same thing has been happening across the nation. Please wipe this paradoxical late payment from my credit score so I can continue moving forward in life instead of renting an apartment for my mother and I or advise me what I can do to recover in a timely fashion that doesn't leave me at the age of XXXX before my credit score improves. I am begging and at your mercy at this point.
