I am a victim of identity theft. Along with setting up an LLC and EIN in the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX with me as the owner, what I perceive as an international crime ring has done to me is set up fraudulent bank in the same name. Mercury XXXX was one of them.. A transfer deposit was made on XX/XX/XXXX from my primary bank, XXXX, to Mercury XXXX The transaction completed, and the {$1000.00} was deducted from my XXXX account. I received written instructions on how to place domestic and international transfer and a live debit card. Even though there were attempts by the bank to reach out to me my XXXX and XXXX account were controlled by the perpetrators who did their best to intimidate me in the meantime with spoof phone calls, XXXX invites with domestic and international participants, and intimidating emails, I could not respond without being detected at the time. Mercury notifies me on XX/XX/year> that they would be closing my account. On XX/XX/XXXX when I had restored control of my systems I reached out to Mercury XXXX Compliance and let them know they could now send me a check for {$1000.00}. I was told though that since the account was not set up there were no funds to transfer. That, of course, is contrary to the documentation I have and the fact that I am still out of {$1000.00}. I responded on XX/XX/XXXX and have not received additional feedback, essentially ignoring me.
