This letter serves as a follow-up and second dispute regarding inaccurate late payment reporting on my consumer credit file. Despite my prior request, the following accounts continue to reflect erroneous late payments, violating my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). Under 15 U.S.C. S 1681 i, consumer reporting agencies must conduct a reasonable reinvestigation of disputed information. You have failed to correct or adequately investigate the following accounts, which are being reported inaccurately as late despite being billed incorrectly : - XXXX XXXX XXXX - ACCT. # XXXX XXXX - XXXX XXXX - ACCT. # XXXX - XXXXXXXX XXXX - ACCT. # XXXX Furthermore, as per 15 U.S.C. S 1681s-2 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ) and S 1681e ( b ), data furnishers and consumer reporting agencies must maintain accurate information. Reporting a credit card or consumer credit account as late due to a billing error is unlawful. These accounts should reflect : " PAID AS AGREED. '' I am formally requesting that you : 1. Immediately reinvestigate and correct these errors ; 2. Provide me with an updated copy of my credit report reflecting the corrections, 3. Include a description of the reinvestigation and the name of the furnisher ( s ) contacted. Failure to comply will result in complaints to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB ) and consideration of legal action under 15 U.S.C.
