I am writing to formally dispute the accuracy of the information being reported on my credit file regarding a closed account with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have contacted the creditor directly, and they have confirmed in writing and over the phone that they can not provide any supporting documentation or billing statements proving that these alleged late payments actually occurred. This means the negative marks are unverified, and therefore must be removed in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), Section 611 and 623. Please conduct a reinvestigation of this account. Since the creditor is unable to validate the accuracy of these derogatory marks, I request the immediate removal of all late payments and negative notations associated with this account.
