Consumer Narrative
I am filing this formal complaint to dispute and demand immediate correction of inaccurate, outdated, and conflicting personal identifying information being reported by the XXXX major credit bureaus : TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. This information is severely compromising the integrity of my credit file and directly violating my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA, 15 USC 1681g & 1681e ( b ) ), which requires all data furnished to be accurate, complete, and verifiable. As of my latest credit disclosures ( dated XX/XX/year> ), the following inaccurate or conflicting personal data is being reported : Multiple variations of my name : ( e.g., XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, etc. ) My only legal name is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, as shown on my attached XXXX photo ID. Multiple or conflicting addresses The only accurate and current address is : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX Incomplete Social Security Number My correct SSN is XXXX Incorrect or missing employer My only valid and current employer is : XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX These errors are not only inaccurate they are damaging and negligent. The FCRA requires that credit bureaus maintain maximum possible accuracy in consumer files ( 15 USC 1681e ( b ) ), and this standard is clearly not being met. Any continued reporting of incorrect identifiers creates a risk of identity confusion, misattribution of data, and denial of credit based on inaccurate consumer profile information. Special Note Regarding Experian : While Experian is currently maintaining an active personal file on me containing my name, date of birth, address, and partial SSN they have failed to generate a credit score or furnish full disclosure of the report file as required by FCRA 1681g ( a ). If Experian holds a file on a consumer, it must provide a complete consumer report upon request, including the score used or maintained. I hereby demand that Experian immediately provide my complete consumer disclosure and credit score, as required by federal law, or issue a formal declaration stating that no score is available and explain why. Requested Action : I demand that TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian : Remove all inaccurate names, addresses, and identifiers that do not match my legal identity. Correct my SSN, employer, and current address to reflect the accurate and verifiable information provided with this dispute. Provide documentation confirming these changes and a clean, corrected report. ( In the case of Experian ) Immediately furnish my credit score and complete file. Attached are copies of my government-issued ID, full SSN, and supporting documents showing my verified address.
