I am filing this complaint because I have discovered multiple unauthorized hard inquiries on my credit report that I did not initiate or consent to. These inquiries were made by various institutions between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX and were pulled from my credit files with TransUnion, Equifax, and Experian. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA, XXXX USC XXXXb ( c ) ), hard inquiries may only be made with the consumers written permission or in connection with a firm offer of credit that the consumer initiates. I did not apply for credit, authorize any of these companies to access my reports, nor did I have any existing business relationship with them. I have disputed these inquiries with all three credit bureaus for over four months, requesting they initiate formal investigations and remove the unauthorized inquiries. To date, I have received no resolution, no investigation results, and the inquiries remain.
