Equifax is inaccurately reporting a late payment that has no factual or legal basis and is causing unjustified harm to my creditworthiness. DETAILS OF THE ISSUE : Equifax is reporting the following account with a false delinquency entry : Creditor Name : XXXX XXXX ( XXXXXXXX XXXX ) Account Number : XXXX Reported Late Payment Date : XX/XX/year>2023 This reported late payment is incorrect and lacks proper verification or substantiation. I have disputed this with Equifax, and they have failed to correct or remove the inaccurate information, in clear noncompliance with their obligations under the FCRA. VIOLATIONS INVOLVED : 15 U.S.C. 1681e ( b ) : Failure to implement reasonable procedures to ensure maximum possible accuracy of the information reported. 15 U.S.C. 1681i : Failure to conduct a reasonable reinvestigation after receiving my dispute. 15 U.S.C. 1666b : Incorrect billing and mischaracterization of a late payment.
