This complaint concerns Equifaxs failure to correct multiple inaccurate and incomplete accounts on my credit reporteven after I submitted a formal written dispute on XX/XX/XXXX, which included valid identification documents. Despite providing proper documentation to verify my identity and clearly identifying the disputed accounts, Equifax has failed to correct or delete the inaccurate information. It has now been over 30 days, and the disputed accounts remain unresolved and continue to negatively impact my credit standing. This was my second request to Equifax, and they have still not responded with any evidence of a proper reinvestigation or provided verification from the furnisher of the XXXX XXXX XXXX reporting. Their inaction constitutes a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S.C. 1681i, which requires timely and reasonable investigation of disputed information.
