After finding information that was not mine I attempted to contact Equifax to have the information removed. I quoted FCRA 1681i and FCRA 605B regarding fraudulent information on my credit report. I requested that the information be permanently blocked and suppressed from my report. It was the following information : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. I was informed if I sent FTC or police report ( attached ) the information would be deleted within 5 days. I did as requested, but they have refused to do so.
